Kiku isn't one many take seriously, as he is rather quiet and seems to avoid talking to other people. He tends to be extremely reserved in manner and speech, usually very awkward around other people. He's a humanitarian who does his best in noble causes, but that's what exiled him in the first place. He's extremely agile and is fairly gifted in ninjutsu as well as fighting with a katana. Despite years of bushido instilled within him, he's learned to bend it to certain situations and sometimes completely defy it.
He sometimes slips into a completely unemotional state, which is dangerous because he could go on a homicidal rampage and remember nothing of it.

History:
When Kiku was born, his was a world of unbelievable richness and opulence. He was raised by an older man of Chinese descent who became a dear friend and mentor, but the man was taken away from and forced to return to his own country. Kiku became despondent to the world and his first bout of emotionlessness was triggered and he almost killed his father, the emperor of Japan. This had happened when he was twelve, and four years later, Kiku was exiled and proclaimed to be dead. Distraught by this, Kiku tried traveling to China to find his mentor, but with no luck. He then came to Russia where he stumbled upon a pirate ship named the HMS Iron Curtain moored in a trading port. Desperate, Kiku secreted himself on the ship, out of sight of most of the crew. Only Raivis, the youngest, knows of him but keeps Kiku a secret. Kiku tends to go around the ship and make repairs without anyone's knowledge. his ability as a mechanic on par with his fighting abilities. He travels in hopes of one day finding his mentor and retaking the throne from his cruel and corrupt father.

The morning would never seem to dawn for him. Kiku watched as a pale shroud on the horizon melted into the blanket of winter night, entrancing him. He was perched upon a place unseen by any of the crew or their legendary captain. Kiku had yet to encounter anyone besides Raivis aboard the vessel, and the boy seemed keen to keep him hidden. Kiku did assist this ship and its crew when he could; when they moored in harbor towns, Kiku pilfered riches from oblivious upperclassmen and left the money where it could be found on the ship, usually by the next morning. He made sometimes extensive repairs on the ship, yet to be discovered, quick in his work and silent in his moving. He made his home in a hidden hollow unknown to anyone but him, and he intended to keep it that way.
He wanted to find that golden-eyes man, the one who meant the world to him when he'd been surrounded by betrayal. Kiku struggled to remember much, he not having seen the older man since childhood...but he missed this brotherly figure desperately. He wanted to find his mentor and remaining on this ship was the only way to do it.
He only had to keep avoiding the captain, Ivan.
